Purpose
To provide support to the Warehouse department with all duties related to admin.
This Position will report to the Warehouse Controller
Key performance areas include (but are not limited to):
- Ensure the correct and effective loading of local shipments.
- Ensure the effective storage and issuing and control of all stock items.
- Ensure that good 5S practises are always adhered to.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to.
- Assist with monthly / daily stock taking and reconciliation of stock.
- Attend daily review meetings.
- Ensure effective and accurate certification of wine.
- Contribute to innovation and business improvements in support of operational and segment goals
- Report breakages immediately
- Keeping record of all loading documentation
- Send DA 32’s to admin on a daily basis
- Monitor Open Sales Report
- Ensure up to date and effective filing system
Requirements
- Matric
- +-3 years of experience in a Warehouse environment
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Must be able to work well within a team.
- Must take ownership of area of responsibility.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or shifts when required.
- Reliable transport to and from work.
