Job Advert Summary
PURPOSE:
To perform physical security duties as required at the Business Unit.
Minimum Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Grade 12/Standard 10 (Essential/Minimum)
•Private Security Ind Regulatory Aut GR C (Essential/Minimum)
EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years Relevant job-specific experience (Essential/Minimum) Operational
REQUIREMENTS:
•Pub Driv Lic:Code B ( Essential/Minimum)
•Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)
•Private Security Industry Regulatory Aut (Essential/Minimum)
•Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
Duties & Responsibilities
Customer, Stakeholder and Client Relationship Management
•Communicate with client’s supervisors to inform on duties performed
•Perform special tasks as requested by direct superior
•Escorting of visitors and employees to different mine areas
Risk Control Operations
•Patrol all mine areas (on foot or using a vehicle)
•Perform administration duties related to designated area of specialization
•Reaction officer
•Inspection of fire equipment, crowd control equipment and industrial action vehicles
•Monitor control authorised access
•Control access of company property
•Assist in carrying out duties
•Attend to alarms
•Report irregularities
•Assist in preliminary investigations, collect evidence at crime scenes
•Assist in controlling waste by reducing cost, materials, time and equipment
•Recruit informers / obtain information from all possible sources.
•Perform guarding / protection work.
•Perform observation duties. Perform security service at official functions
