Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To complete all the administrative tasks of the Distribution Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reception (manage the switchboard and receive guests and visitors)
  • Run biometric and attendance reports
  • Office administration (including faxing, filing and post)
  • Purchase of office consumables (stationery, tea and coffee)
  • Administration of supplier documentation
  • Sourcing and following up on Supplier quotes and invoices
  • Assisting with Payroll 
  • Order and stock control
  • Health and Safety Induction
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Distribution Centre environment will be advantageous 
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and G-suite
  • Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
  • Willing to work P40 (includes weekends)
  • Competencies required: Planning, Organising and Control; Communication: Build and maintain relationships; Detail orientation; Stress tolerance and Confidence and Service orientation
