We’re on the lookout for an experienced Administrator to complete administrative functions professionally and effectively within the laboratory at the Dissolving Pulp Centre of Excellence.
As an Administrator, you will be responsible to:
- Receive pulp competitor samples and dissolving pulp mill samples, store in the pulp store and enter into the Sample Management system.
- Issue and receipt of samples to and from laboratory projects .
- Compile consumable purchasing requirements weekly based on consumables stock counts and create weekly consumables purchase orders
- Create notification and purchase requisitions for equipment repair and maintenance requirements
- Update relevant rosters quarterly; equipment verifications, internal equipment calibrations, chemical preparation and standardisation rosters, housekeeping team rosters
- Update status of SHEQ related action items e.g. from housekeeping inspections, improvement actions, safety suggestions SHEQ
- Coordinate job observation programme, collating and reporting monthly on observations
- Prepare standard complaint graphs for quarterly CSR reporting, DP Cluster reports and for Saiccor Mill quarterly Site SHEQ meetings
- Assist with data downloads and spreadsheet preparation for customer meetings and technical reviews
- Coordinate administration functions i.e. ordering of Stationary and PPE requirements, printing of laboratory logbooks, arranging functions (arranging catering, booking venues, travel requirements)
What are we looking for?
- Grade 12 with a Secretarial or Administration Qualification (NQF 4/5)
- 3 years relevant experience within a similar environment
- Strong computer literacy with competency in Microsoft Office
- Working experience with SAP and SharePoint will be considered advantageous
