Reminder, The DBSA Calls for the youth of South Africa to apply for its Water and Sanitation Learnership (NQF -level 5) and DBSA Winter School.
Both programmes resume in July.
1. Water and Sanitation Learnership (NQF-level 5)
This programme will place 10 Learners on a 12-month contract at DBSA starting on 15 July 2023. A competitive stipend will be provided for the duration of the learnership. We are looking to grow scarce and critical skills.
Eligible candidates will need:
•A completed university degree in the applicable sector
- To have an average of 65% average across subjects
- To be a South African citizen
- To be under the age of 27 years at the commencement of the contract
- To note that placement will be in Gauteng ONLY

2. DBSA Winter School
This programme will run over four days during July 2023. Students will receive exposure to the work done by the Bank from business experts and the young talent within the business.
Eligible candidates need to adhere to the following criteria:
- Only qualifications in these fields will be considered: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Environmental Sciences (i.e. GIS, Energy), Quants (i.e. Maths & Stats, Actuarial Sciences) or Engineering (specific to the Built environment)
- Students need to be currently in their 2nd Year, 3rd Year or Honours (Full time)
- The programme will run at the DBSA office in Midrand.
- Students will need to be available to attend on 4, 5, 11 & 12 July
