Position: Housekeeping Assistant/General Worker
Introduction
A vacancy exists for a Housekeeping Assistant/General Worker based at Life St Georges Hospital, reporting to the Service Manager.
The successful candidates will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of housekeeping services within the Laundry facility.Critical Outputs
To provide satisfactory experience by:
- Keeping all facilities/areas neat and tidy
- Servicing all areas on a regular basis
- Adhering to infection control policies
- Maintaining a professional relationship with colleagues and management
To provide quality housekeeping services by:
- Attending training as and when required
- Adhere to all cleaning procedures and protocols
- Applying correct cleaning methods to different areas
- Stocking all facilities sufficiently with supplies
- Working shifts as needed
- Assisting with any general work within the laundry facility
Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Previous housekeeping experience
- Strong customer orientation, team player and energetic
- Well-organised
- Able to work under pressure
- Must be physically fit
- Able to work shifts if needed
