Job Overview<\/strong>
UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. The main purpose of the job is to oversee the incoming stock from Central Warehouse and outgoing stock to the Dealers. This function compliments the entire interface between the Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) and BA\/Dealer\/Customer on urgently required components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This position is earmarked to Unemployed Youth on a 12 month contract basis. The person applying must comply with the criteria and be registered on the Yes4Youth platform<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities and Duties<\/strong> <\/strong>
Customer Service<\/strong>
\u2022 Interface with and Respond to all Dealer queries.
\u2022 Coordinating with the relevant function in order to resolve queries.
\u2022 Updating of weekly back order report
\u2022 Manage dealer Argus cases ensuring sufficient response time.
\u2022 First point of contact with the dealers via relevant support mailboxes.
\u2022 To follow-up with Warehouse on all orders, collections etc.
\u2022 Follow delivery issues i.e. Nil Picks, Dealer Discrepancies, Transport delays etc.).
\u2022 To ensure and manage a good Customer relations.
\u2022 To ensure continuity of daily operations when acting at a back-up in the UD Trucks Customer Service Centre.
\u2022 Provide effective support, calculates duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported and imported, to and from foreign destinations.
\u2022 Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Local Procurement<\/strong>
\u2022 Determine if parts quantities are sufficient for needs, order more when required based on the purchase proposal.
\u2022 Liaise with suppliers in order to schedule \/ expedite deliveries and resolve shortages.
\u2022 Follow up on outstanding orders and update expected time of arrivals
\u2022 Reviewing daily orders (by going through shortages) to ensure proper stock levels are maintained
\u2022 Reviewing special orders (VOR\u2019s) to ensure they are ordered and delivered in a timely manner
\u2022 Inputting data related to POs and invoices – Support finance and warehouse in terms of supplier queries with regards to incorrect deliveries and\/ or prices invoiced

Minimum qualifications<\/strong>
\u2022 Grade 12 and Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain\/Logistics
\u2022 1-2 years in the commercial vehicle industry\u00a0
