Position Purpose:<\/strong>
The provision of labour as directed by Supervisor in order to ensure a safe and clean working environment or optimized
cargo operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position outputs:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Cleaning of operational equipment (such as ship to shore cranes windows, cranes’ cabins etc. )<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Inspection of container condition<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Reefer monitoring operation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Opening and Closing of rail wagons twist locks<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Loading, off loading and stacking of cargo in compliance of standard operating procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Hooking \/ unhooking<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Tarping \/ untarping where applicable<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Place \/ remove dunnage<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Cleaning of operational areas, rail trucks, plant, workshops, offices, sheds and ablution facilities as instructed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Complete applicable documentation such as accident reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Identification of correct cargo handling equipment \/ gear<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
