{"id":713,"date":"2023-07-25T06:34:49","date_gmt":"2023-07-25T06:34:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sendcv.creativemindz.co.za\/?p=713"},"modified":"2023-07-25T06:34:49","modified_gmt":"2023-07-25T06:34:49","slug":"warehouse-controller-12-month-fixed-term","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sendcv.creativemindz.co.za\/index.php\/2023\/07\/25\/warehouse-controller-12-month-fixed-term\/","title":{"rendered":"Warehouse Controller (12 month Fixed-Term)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"630\" height=\"254\" src=\"https:\/\/sendcv.creativemindz.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/R-1-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-714\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sendcv.creativemindz.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/R-1-3.jpg 630w, https:\/\/sendcv.creativemindz.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/R-1-3-300x121.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Centurion, South Africa<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Closing date: 28 July 2023 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Warehouse Controller (12 month Fixed-Term)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We are looking for a Warehouse Controller \u2013 to perform receiving, binning, picking and packaging of Finished Goods and products in an effective and efficient manner to support on-time delivery to Customers.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A packer will be assigned to a specific area, retrieve the items needed from the inventory, check that they are in good condition, wrap them securely, and pack them for shipping.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Binning of goods from Transit (Manufacturing \/ Test Departments \/ Capricorn Park) and Incoming Quality Inspection to ensure that they are readily available for SRUs, LRUs picking.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Your role<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Binning of Goods \u2013 Ensure effective, accurate and timeous binning of Goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Packing of Goods \u2013 Ensure effective, accurate and timeous packing of Goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stock movement \u2013 Ensure effective receiving and capturing of incoming Goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stock movement \u2013 Ensure effective and accurate stock movement when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bin location maintenance \u2013 Ensure that bin locations are maintained in accordance with the required standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ESD \u2013 Ensure that the ESD process is followed when handling and binning materials, also ensure that items are stored in correct storage areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bin cards \u2013 Ensure that new items have bin cards and existing stock has bin cards updated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shortage clearance \u2013 Ensure that shortage clearances are conducted timeous and on daily basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inventory Management \u2013 Ensure efficient packing, handling and storing of Goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inventory System Maintenance \u2013 Correct management of the inventory system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kitting \u2013 To kit Goods as per kit lists, as and when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality &#8211; Ensure that all binned, kitted or packaged items are of the good quality standard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantity \u2013 Ensure that correct quantities are picking in accordance with the pick list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loading of Goods \u2013 Ensure that all Goods are loaded and offloaded in a safe manner and that all paper work corresponds with the delivery specifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Packing, handling and storage \u2013 Ensure efficient packing, handling and storage of Goods as per specifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receiving \u2013 Ensure all Finished Goods are effectively and efficiently received, binned and packaged for shipping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unplanned requisitions \u2013 Accurate and timeous handling of unplanned requisitions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raising and participating in material reviews in terms of the Material Review Board process to resolve and prevent warehousing related non-conformances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the warehousing related outcomes of the MRB process are effectively implemented.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5\u2019s \u2013 Ensure that 5\u2019s is maintained in the work environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure maximum utilization of storage space adhering to quality and safety standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry out all legal instructions from management, as all duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Your profile<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Skills Required<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An applicable tertiary qualification in Supply Chain and\/or Inventory Management or equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent Interpersonal Skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planning and Organizing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality Orientation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Desired skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be able to work under minimal supervision<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have a technical background<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gr 12 with relevant Stores\/Warehouse Experience is essential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certificate or qualification in Supply Chain, Warehouse or Inventory Management will be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What you will be a part of<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Saab is a global company with operations and employees in 40 countries around the world.
