12 Month Internship Role<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summary of the position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Internship programme successfully places candidates within divisions of Apex Fund Services South Africa to provide them with the workplace experience needed to act as a foundation to establish their career. Interns are given a 12 month contract and receive a monthly stipend. At the end of the contract, trainees who meet Apex\u2019s recruitment requirements, can apply for an available vacancy on the career portal. Although no guarantees can be given, we have many success stories of interns successfully placed in permanent vacancies following their internship. The Programme is aimed at individuals who have completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Investment, HR, Legal and Marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outline of main duties and responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Responsibilities will differ depending on the department the intern is placed at;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Drive and contribute to a culture of quality\/excellence, through risk awareness and adherence to compliance standards and operational controls;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skills and experience required<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Completed Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Marketing or equivalent (essential);<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Although no experience is required;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Numeracy and Analytical skills;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Problem solving skills ;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Attention to detail;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Strong interpersonal and relationship skills;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Strong attention to detail;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ability to follow rules and procedures;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ability to work on own initiative;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ability to work with people and in a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
