PURPOSE OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/td>Optimal operation of the mobile\/fixed pecker machine to break material into smaller sizes for effortless feed into the crusher during the crushing process to prevent any breakages \/stoppages and delays in the production processes.<\/td><\/tr>
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/strong><\/td>Production:<\/strong>
Ensures overall effective production and that production targets are achieved.
Responsible to ensure efficiency within their area of operation, thus safe profitable production to plan.
Identifies and reports any problems or issues with equipment and machines.

Safety:<\/strong>
Coordinates compliance with organisational safety, health, environment and quality standards and procedures.
Ensures adherence and implementation of safe traffic management principles.
Monitors and ensures that any accident\/incident\/breakdown is reported to the relevant supervisor immediately.
Enforces good housekeeping and ensures they provide\/hand over a clean and safe workplace to the next supervisor on shift.
Monitors to ensure that the pre checklist is conducted and operating hours of machines are reported to the control room tech on daily basis.
Adheres to all Health and Safety rules and standards.
Works in a manner that does not endanger oneself or others.
Always wears the required PPE. Ensure they have the right safety equipment and use it in a safe and correct manner.
Completes relevant quality checking or processing sheets.
Reports all safety hazards, accidents, and incidents to appropriate line management.
Ensures all work is out and finished products are aligned with quality standard expected by Tshipi.

Communication:<\/strong>
Ensures proper communication between the control room tech and any TMM at the ROM pad.<\/td><\/tr>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED<\/strong><\/td>\u00b7        Matric (Grade 12) NQF Level 4\u00b7        Driver\u2019s licence (preferential)<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED<\/strong><\/td>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Up to 3 years related experience.
\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Manganese Ore processing experience is\u00a0(preferential).<\/strong>
\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proven experience in plants, conveyors.<\/td><\/tr>
