The focus of this position is to provide professional customer service by facilitating the patient&nbsp;administration process.<br><br>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide efficient, friendly and professional telephone services in patient care.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist patients in accurately completing appropriate forms, and document all information in accordance to internal policies and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for all processes related to the reception-patient journey, e.g. booking, arrival and payment of patient on the relevant system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Direct all customers to the appropriate location, services and Professional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure patient confidentiality at all times according to POPIA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the reception area is always neat and tidy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refer all emergency cases to the nurse\u2019s station according to protocol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist patients with basic account queries and escalate as necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collect all co-payments and account balances according to Intercare policies and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Execute and adhere to daily cash-up and banking processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum qualification: Grade 12.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience in a customer focused service environment, e.g. reception, will be advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer proficient.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GoodX system experience will be advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to travel to various Practices as required.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If your personal purpose is aligned to our purpose and your values fit in with our value system, please apply.
