Key performance areas<\/strong>
\u2022Liaise with management for daily transport schedule
\u2022Transport patients safely to and from destinations
\u2022Transport staff for home visit purposes
\u2022Collect and deliver documents and\/or goods safely
\u2022Assist with ad hoc administrative and maintenance duties as assigned by management
\u2022Complete general driving requirement for the site as and when required and authorised by management \u2022Maintain study documentation according to monitoring requirements
\u2022Complete vehicle logbook before and after each trip
\u2022Ensure that the vehicle is always clean and in a roadworthy condition
\u2022Monitor mileage intervals and advise admin manager according to service intervals
\u2022Ensure company vehicles are parked in the main security area over the weekend and holiday periods
\u2022Ensure adherence to the vehicle policy, driver policy and road law enforcement regulations
\u2022Take ownership and accountability for tasks and demonstrates effective self-management
\u2022Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained
\u2022Maintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedback
\u2022Take ownership for driving own career development by participating in ongoing training and development activities such as forums, conferences, policy setting workshops etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Required minimum education and training<\/strong>
\u2022Matric\/Grade 12
\u2022Valid South African Driver\u2019s license and Professional Drivers Permit<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Required minimum work experience and abilities
<\/strong>\u2022Minimum 3 years of experience in a driver role
\u2022Ability to maintain accurate records
\u2022Knowledge of Gauteng areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities
Must be of sober habits, be willing to work overtime, able to work independently, punctuality and good time managementskills, professional and positive disposition, good communication in English and other African languages (verbal and written), customer orientated and tactful, self-motivated with high record for work ethic, values, and integrity<\/p>\n\n\n\n
