You will be required to ensure a clean and neat office space while maintaining a hygienic Dis-Chem standard throughout the Head Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Essential:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 \/ Matric<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Advantageous:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>N\/A<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Specification\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Head Office and communal areas on a daily basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop routines to ensure all areas of the Head Office are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the canteen and restroom is clean and stocked up with the necessary products at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be available at all time, throughout operational hours, to clean up as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure refuse doesn\u2019t contain any products or valued goods before disposing it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vacuum carpeted areas (meeting and training rooms) daily as per standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vacuum other carpeted areas once a week as per standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dust desks, chairs, telephones, shelves, photocopiers etc. in offices and meeting rooms as per standard operating procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adhere to industry health and safety regulations while performing duties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure no cleaning utensils are left unattended on the office floor and that it is stored away while not in use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that the wet floor sign is up and visible at both ends when cleaning the floor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be friendly and professional \u2013 able to deal with customers when they are on-site while cleaning is being performed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guide customers to the right floor or people when asked for assistance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate with staff and guests in a clear and friendly manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solve minor problems or redirect it to the team leader for assistance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure kitchens and bathrooms have enough stock and are cleaned according to Dis-Chem standards report any low or out of stock to the team leader.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report any malfunctioning equipment or items in areas of operation: doors, handles, locks, taps, cisterns, lights, switch, etc. to the team leader.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Competencies<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Essential:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cleaning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>English \u2013 Speak<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer service and staff member communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trustworthy and honest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be able to take instructions and follow through<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Advantageous:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;additional Language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Special conditions of employment:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Needs to work under pressure and reach tight deadlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>South African<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MIE, clear criminal and credit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driver\u2019s license and own reliable transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Remuneration and benefits:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Market related salary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical aid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provident fund<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>ONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
