Global Forwarding Freight – South Africa has an opening for a Warehouse Operator where you will assist in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, perform loading and unloading of trucks or containers and assist with stock preparation.  Join us now in connecting people and improving lives.

In this Warehouse Operator position

  • You will be loading and unloading cargo from vehicles.
  • You will perform customer-specific requirements.
  • You will support Inbound/Warehouse/Outbound Supervisors and Data Clerks.
  • You will provide Forklift assistance in inbound, the respective stores and the outbound areas.
  • You will ensure to maintain a clean operation area, assist with access and forklift.
  • You will provide assistance where required.
  • You will assist security officers where required in the warehouse.
  • You will attend to daily activities inside the warehouse.
  • You will observe and follow strickly the warehouse safety and security policy and procedures.
  • You will observe and ensure proper use of warehouse tools and equipment.
  • You will report any untoward incidents inside the warehouse.

Now, here’s what we need from you

  • Matric or equivalent
  • F2 forklift licence preferable
  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in warehousing
  • Knowledge of H&S Regulations
  • Competent in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Sound Knowledge of Logistics
