Requirements :
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. Tertiary qualification in Administration will be of advantage. Exposure in Administration in the Public health sector environment will be an added advantage. Driver’s licence. Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service (BCEA, PSA, PSR, PFMA, etc.). Ability to capture data and collecting statistics. Computer literacy. Ability to work in a team. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal relations.
Duties :
Responsible for rendering effective administrative, procurement, human resource, and financial support to the District Mental Health teams. Compile and coordinate procurement plan for the team which is aligned to the budget. Monitor expenditure, and the implementation of procurement plans. Collecting and collating information, and dissemination of correspondence (submissions, letters, and reports). Following up on outstanding issues/submissions/reports. Assist in compiling progress or monthly reports. Taking minutes during meetings. Submission of performance agreements and evaluation documents on time. Capture all team assessment reports. Handle routine inquiries. Maintain a leave register for the team. Keep and maintain personnel records of the team. Keep and maintain the attendance register of the team. Render other administrative duties as directed by the supervisor
